Regularly planned purchases (based on the acquisition policy) ensure an access to new books and complete the missing items.
Purchase suggestions submitted by Users help us to complete the collection of books in response to specific needs.
We accept gifts from individual and institutional donors.
We also exchange publications with other Libraries and the Editors of university magazines.
Purchase suggestions should be submitted via the form in the computer catalogue. If you do not yet have an account, please register first.
Please provide basic information about the publication and additional information about its purpose.
Order processing and making the publications available depends on various factors, e.g. availability of the title, purchase plans of the Library.
UIK Library accept donations of materials that support the teaching and research needs of the University community.
If you wish to donate single copies, please contact the Librarians at Information & loan desk.
The Library reserve the right to retain or discard gifts.
We don’t accept collections in the library depository.
As part of the exchange, the Library offers mainly publications of Ignatianum University Press, WAM Publishing House and other publishers.
Current list of books to be exchanged are visible in the library catalogue. You can see it through the advanced search by selecting the item type “zDublety”.
