Library materials from the magazine can be ordered in the Information & loan desk or via the electronic catalog, the collections in the Reading room are available in the form of free access – you can reach them yourself.

Everyone can use the collections on site (you can make scans and copies), AIK Students and AIK Staff can additionally books borrow – check the details of the loan rules.

The Library participates in the ACADEMICA – the interlibrary loan system of books and scientific publications (the National Library).

In Library all users can use our collections on site. Reading roomInformation desk and Group study room have adequate work spaces.
Free access to collections in Reading room will allow you to find materials and informations from various fields of science. Collections in Reading room can you take from the shelves yourself.
Collections found in the Library’s warehouses are brought immediately by employees.
Library materials you can use too in the Group study room. 

If you want borrow books you need to sing in to the Library.
UIK students are allowed to checkout book published after 1950 year, Staff and PhD Students – after 1900 year.
Journals and special collection are not for loan, only available on site.

The Library offers the possibility of making copies and scans.
We copy library materials published after 1950 year for a fee.
You can scan materials by yourself with no charges. Scanner is available in Information desk. You need pendrive to write files. Scan to email is limitted to 10 MB.
We don’t scan materials for users.
There is no printer available for users in Library. We don’t print user’s files.
In the Library you can get university prints available on the Ignatianum Academy website for free.
For the needs of the classes, the Library prepares scans of literature contained in syllabuses.

After preparing the materials by the Library, the teacher gets a link to resources, that he gives to students.

Digital versions are made available under the fair use of protected works (the Act of 4 February 1994 on Copyright and Related Rights).

The Library participates in the ACADEMICA project – the Digital Loan Place of Scientific Publications. The service allows the use of digitized collections of the National Library.
You must reserve a computer to use ACADEMICA.
